The brief for this assignment was to design a generic, simplified model of car headlights to convey the different steel products used in toolmaking. It was important not to copy a car brand, but to find a way to simplify the shapes to achieve a generic appearance. The unbeatable advantage of the 3D design process is that once a model has been created, it can be rendered from different camera angles, lighting changes can be made, textures can be adjusted and it can be output in any resolution desired.
